QCC names director for gifts & fundraising

Larry Cowen has been named the Director of Annual Giving and Major Gifts in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Queensborough Community College (QCC).
Before he joined QCC, Cowen was the Associate Director of Development for The Graduate Center at the City University of New York, where he developed the center’s first planned giving program.
He will spearhead fundraising drives to cultivate and secure major donors for the Scholarship Campaign, the $5 million program endowment campaign for the Harriet and Kenneth Kupferberg Holocaust Resource Center and Archives, the QCC Art Gallery campaign and other initiatives of the QCC Fund, Inc.
Cowen will also lead fundraising efforts with QCC’s annual fund campaign.
