Uncover ‘The Real You’ at Health Expo

“I really believe we can all have what we want,” exclaimed Elizabeth Aloni, the love, career, family, and relationship coach behind EJoy Coaching, based in Chicago. The Bayside native, who appeared on NBC’s television series Average Joe as a life coach and has coached employees and members of the Spark Network, owners of dating web sites Jdate and AmericanSingles, will lead a free group coaching session at the Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo at the Sheraton LaGuardia East in Flushing on Sunday, October 28.
Aloni received a master’s degree in spiritual psychology and founded EJoy Coaching (www.ejoycoaching.com) in 1992 after many years as a business executive in New York. Her clients number in the hundreds and are located all around the United States, frequently engaging in coaching sessions with Aloni over the phone.
While traditional “therapy focuses a lot on the past, coaching focuses on what’s going on right now,” Aloni explained. “Too many people wait for the right time, or the right educational background, or the right circumstances. I help people go out and get it.” According to the Bayside High School graduate, “a coach is a cheerleader; a coach is a motivator; a coach brings accountability into your life; a coach is a sounding board, and an advisor.”
Using a series of action steps she has developed, Aloni helps her clients isolate and overcome obstacles standing in the way of their happiness or success and hopes to give visitors to the Expo some valuable insight into the process with her seminar “Healthy Heart - Capturing Your True Love.” “People can expect to take away real simple, direct things to be able to attract the right love into their lives,” she said. “I want people to walk away [from my seminar at the Health Expo] with a feeling of what it’s like to have a one-on-one session with me.”
In addition to learning from Aloni and the many other seminar speakers and exhibitors at the Expo, visitors who register at the door will be eligible to win two round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental U.S. courtesy of American Airlines.
The free Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and, while entrance is free, reserving a seat for one of the seminars is recommended. Call 718-224-5863, Ext. 201 for more information.
