Fatal Crash

An 80-year-old man died when the Access-A-Ride vehicle he had been traveling in swerved to avoid another car and struck a lamp post and a tree.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, November 13 at Juniper Boulevard and 62nd Avenue. The driver, a 51-year-old female, and three passengers were taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. No criminality is suspected and no summonses were issued.
