Project named Sky View Parc

The next big real estate development in downtown Flushing has a new name - Sky View Parc.
The 3.3 million-square-foot, mixed-use center, which is being built at College Point Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue will contain a mix of residential units and national retailers, as well as an elevated four-acre park, tennis courts and an outdoor pool.
“Sky View Parc will be the most spectacular residential development in the history of Queens County,” said Jason Muss, Principal of Muss Development, which is developing the project. “The neighborhood is incredibly vibrant and bustling with economic, cultural and culinary activity.”
Formerly known as Flushing Town Center, Sky View Parc will feature elevated living in six residential towers - with sales on the condominiums set to begin in January of 2008 - in order to coincide with the opening of the Sky View Parc sales office across the street from the site.
While sales for the first condominium will begin in January, the first residents are expected to move into their new location in July of 2009. Sky View Parc, which will offer studios as well one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, are expected to go from $400,000 to up to $2 million.
In addition, the site will contain a three-story, 800,000-square-foot retail shopping space, which will include national retail chains, a supermarket and more than 30,000 square feet of restaurants scheduled to open by the summer of 2009.
“There will be six buildings elevated by the retail shopping to provide breathtaking views in every direction, amenities one might only find in areas outside of New York, and transportation access that includes a subway, commuter train, all major Queens highways and airports to the north and south,” Muss said.
