According to the Samuel Field Y in Little Neck, the Beacon Program at M.S. 216, the George J. Ryan School, is offering the following programs at the school, which is located at 64-20 175th Street, in Fresh Meadows.
Monday-Friday: Homework helpers; after-school Club Time.
Tuesdays: Basketball tournament of ages 10 to 12; Latin Dance for ages 12 to 16; Adult Computer Classes for beginners and advanced.
Thursdays: Basketball tournament for ages 13 to 15.
Fridays: Friday Night Recreation.
Saturdays: Arts & Crafts for ages seven to 12; Basketball Clinic for beginners and advanced.
They are also offering:
Open gym programs for ages 13 to 18, and for 18-and-over.
Impact Math & Specialized High School Exam prep courses.
