Kidz Care hosts holiday party

The American Legion Hall and Kidz Care, Junior Civic Association in Forest Hills recently hosted their annual holiday party for kids. Kidz Care is a youth-based organization, which provides youngsters with an avenue to perform volunteer services within their community.
The children work to beautify parks, clean up trash, cover graffiti, plant bulbs and flowers, and provide seniors with companionship and assistance. Kidz Care was formed in May of 2004 with just 10 kids, and the group now has more than 130 members.
