There were 17 Bronx and Westchester schools invited to the 14th Annual Cardinal Hayes Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, January 5, at the Lombardi Center at Fordham University, but when the dust settled, it was Fordham Prep that came out on top in
Fordham Prep would go on to win both the varsity and freshman divisions at the annual track meet.
In the varsity division, Fordham scored 148 points, followed by Mount Saint Michael, in second place with 86 points, and Cardinal Hayes in third with 48 points.
