There may be worries about a slow-down in the housing market in some places, but apparently not in northeast Queens.
Keller Williams Realty Inc. announced recently it has expanded to New York City by opening Keller Williams Realty Landmark at 32-55 Francis Lewis Boulevard in Bayside.
Already the fourth largest franchise real estate operation on the continent, Keller Williams was named the fastest-growing residential real estate firm in North America by Realtor Magazine.
Led by Operating Principal Louis Cardenas and Team Leader Allison Kettrick, the market center will “offer Queens area buyers and sellers exceptional service and in-depth knowledge of the Queens real estate market,” according to a spokesperson.
The company said that over one third of the more than 80 agents to work out of the Bayside office have been realtors for ten years or more. Among them are agents fluent in one or more languages, including English, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, Polish, Greek and Italian, they said.
“Keller Williams Realty is excited about opening a new market center in Bayside,” said Mark Willis, chief executive officer of Keller Williams Realty International. Willis said that company policy was to select only “the premier partners in any given area.”
The company maintains a continuing-education program for its agents, Williams University, as well as ongoing training sessions, an Agent Leadership Council and profit sharing to attract and maintain “the best in the business.”
The company said they “have attracted well established agents (from RE/MAX, Golden Choice, Coldwell Banker, Prudential Douglas Elliman, Century 21 and many privately owned agencies.”
