As thousands of Throggs Neck residents wrapped their presents this holiday season, one local woman was left empty-handed after an anonymous Grinch stole half a dozen gifts from her doorstep.
Vincent Avenue resident Maria Spina thought the hustle and bustle of the holidays had come to a close after ordering the last of her Christmas presents for her nieces and nephews.
But she was in for a surprise on Friday, December 21, when packages that UPS dropped off at her doorstep were nowhere in sight by the time she got home from work.
