First grade students from P.S. 28 in Corona recently visited the New York Hall of Science’s Invention at Play, which will be open through May 11. The exhibit explores creativity and how purposeless play is a vital ingredient in meaningful invention by combining art, science and technology. New York Hall of Science President & CEO Marilyn Hoyt (standing) provided opening remarks for the opening of the exhibit on Saturday, February 16.
The New York Hall of Science is located at 47-01 111th Street in Corona and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., Fridays from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission for adults cost $11 and for kids $8, and admission is free from 2 until 5 p.m. on Fridays and from 10 until 11 a.m. on Sundays.
