The first modular home of its kind to be installed in the five boroughs will welcome home a Navy veteran in a few months. It took one morning for a crane to hoist the home into place.
The two-story home, which was transported to in two fairly complete pieces, was installed in the morning hours of Saturday, February 9, at 3272 Tierney Place in Locust Point. It replaces an existing bungalow that William and Regina Marengo have called home for 20 years. Regina is a U.S. Navy lieutenant commander, serving her second tour of duty, in Iraq.
