One of the victims of a multiple shooting that occurred last week near the corner of E. Tremont and Miles avenues knew his attackers for almost 15 years, a reliable source has confirmed.
Apparently, shooting victim Vincent Berisha grew up in the same neighborhood and was friends with all three of his attackers: John Rezaj, Martino Cekaj, and Joseph Bevilacqua. The men had no problems in the past, and Berisha was shocked by the attack, according to the source.
Arrest reports stated that Berisha was seated in his parked 2007 Infiniti with another friend, Patrick Goffs, when the three men acting in concert first attacked Goffs and then opened fire on Berisha, hitting fellow-defendant Rezaj in what was an apparent accident.
Rezaj approached the car at around 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 31 near Tosca
