All Faiths Cemetery Compassionate care in a beautiful setting

At the All Faiths Cemetery in Middle Village, the grounds serve as a tribute to the deceased and the staff fosters a comfortable, reverent environment for the family and friends of those at rest. Providing compassion and genuine care to lot owners, funeral directors and visitors alike has been the standard at All Faiths Cemetery since it was founded in 1850.
Spread over 225 acres with 19 miles of roadways, the grounds boast some of Queens County’s highest vantage points and views of Manhattan, from Wall Street to midtown, and the cemetery is the final resting place to more than 540,000 New Yorkers of multiple religious denominations.
All Faiths Cemetery’s old world charm, rolling hills and panoramic vistas have made it a setting for several film and television productions, including Rosemary’s Baby, Plan B, Watching The Detectives, NYPD Blue, Now and Again, and The Sopranos. Some of the cemetery’s over 200,000 pieces of historic memorial architecture have been featured in the films and shows.
Recent years have seen many improvements to the cemetery, under the auspices of a new management team and the addition of an Architectural Consultant and Historic Preservationist. Two community mausoleums have been constructed, including the Eternal Light Community Mausoleum, which maintains the historic character typical of the cemetery and serves the needs of the community. Other infrastructure improvements have been put into effect and numerous pieces of memorial architecture have been restored. Historic preservation is an ongoing effort.
Located only minutes from midtown Manhattan, All Faiths Cemetery serves the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Westchester, Southern Connecticut and Central New Jersey. Each Sunday tours of the cemetery depart at 2pm, and private group tours with an All Faiths Cemetery staff member can be arranged for those looking to explore the grounds and learn more about the cemetery’s rich history.
