Delicious Diner Meals

When thinking of a diner, I think voluminous menu and voluminous portions. At Terrace Diner add delicious home made food and Greek specialties.
As a new neighbor in the upper level of the Bay Terrace shopping center, I was pleased to eat at the remodeled restaurant under new ownership for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At breakfast time there is a special menu with a wide variety of choices. Being an omelet lover I chose the vegetable & ham western omelet that was the biggest I ever saw. The accompanying hash browns were crispy and plentiful. The coffee cup was repeatedly refilled. Josh had a lox special with lettuce, onion and tomatoes on a huge bagel. He left nothing over!
A few days later, I went with Stu and Sheila for dinner.
We were greeted by Jimmy, one of the owners and the day manager. He makes sure his patrons are well served. A friendly, efficient waiter promptly came to our table.
Although there are pages of menu choices, we chose from the specials of the day. I think the $13.95 dinner with soup or salad or dessert is a real bargain - cheaper than cooking at home! I ordered the large Greek salad with plentiful cheese then I had sole filled with crabmeat. A large portion arrived accompanied by vegetables and potatoes. It was tasty, moist and flavorful.
Stu had his favorite liver and onions. The best compliment was his remark “just like my mother made it.”
Sheila started with the delicious homemade pea soup and then had the shrimp kebab - a large portion. The perfect cooked shrimp came on a skewer with onions and tomatoes.
Being a diner with a fountain of tempting ice cream treats, I could not resist having an egg cream for dessert. Stu and Sheila sampled the honey filled Greek specialty.
The well-designed restaurant features a balcony area great for parties of up to 50.
The beautiful mosaic walls are worth stopping in to admire. The large windows bring in the sun during the day and make for a dramatic setting at night.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are extensive choices of cocktails and wine, all moderately priced. There is plenty of free parking.
Try it, you will love it!
