Farewell to winter

March, they say, comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.
Seesawing temperatures have all but wiped away the one heavy snowfall we had in late February.
These Bayside residents were caught recently, enjoying a preview of spring at beautiful Oakland Lake, one of the gems of our park system.
