Legros Cultural Arts Inc. is seeking submissions in film/video for their upcoming Queens Youth Multicultural Film Festival.
The criteria for submissions are: 1) the film/video must following on or more of the following themes: cultural diversity and awareness, world peace, social justice and human rights, racism and discrimination in America today or a personal story on any of the themes; 2) the film/video must be directed, written, filmed and edited by youth ages 14-23; 3) actors can be of any age; and 4) the project must be no more than 30 minutes in length.
The deadline for submissions is July 31. The Queens Youth Multicultural Film Festival will be taking place at various locations in Queens from Oct. 9-12. To request an application or for more information, contact Chantal Legros at 917-741-2992 or e-mail legrosculturalarts@hotmail.com.
