On Thursday, May 1, State Senator Serphin Maltese sponsored a free health fair complete with health screening and testing for blood pressure, glaucoma and other diseases. The health fair, which took place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Christ Tabernacle on Myrtle Avenue, also provided information on hospice care, asthma prevention and information for local senior citizens who live in the area.
