GWDC celebrates spring

The Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation sponsored its special 29th anniversary “Warmth of Spring” dinner dance in honor of “Woman of the Year 2008,” Assemblymember Audrey Pheffer; “Man of the Year 2008,” Fedele C. Bianchi, owner of F&J Carpet; “Community Organization the Year 2008,” The Woodhaven Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps.; “Business Owner the Year 2008,” Dr. Anthony S. DeSano, Director of the Center for Alternative Medicine.
Held at La Bella Vita Caterers, the evening included a DJ and special appearance by Doo Wop group “The Four Pops.”
