The man who randomly stabbed a woman in the chest as he rode his bicycle was arrested on Tuesday, June 24, and police say the suspect is responsible for a series of similar slashings a decade ago.
Eli Granger, 46, of Brooklyn, reportedly served nine years for at least three similar crimes in 1994.
He was also arrested for allegedly punching a former city councilmember in 1993.
In his most recent attack, Granger stabbed Eduardia Olivia, 37, as she walked with her 13-year-old daughter along 22nd Street near the 59th Street Bridge.
