I have been remiss in extending my appreciation and gratitude to my local elected officials: City Councilman Anthony Avella (D-Bayside) and state Sen. Frank Padavan (R-Bellerose). Both were contacted by me regarding the ongoing, abominable service I received from Time Warner Cable.
Avella's office and staff, in particular, were relentless in their efforts to aid in my attempts to receive the services for which I was paying but not receiving.
Avella's office put me in touch with an executive member of Time Warner Cable's public relations office. I learned that Time Warner Cable does not provide a refund for services it has not provided unless you contact it.
Again, I thank Avella and Padavan. We know you hear our complaints, but it is great to publicly express our gratitude.
