An 81-year-old woman was hit on 109th Street and Queens Boulevard on September 5.
When police arrived, she was unconscious and unresponsive. A preliminary investigation revealed that she had been crossing Queens Boulevard north to south when she was struck by a 1997 tan Toyota Camry, driven by an 83-year-old woman.
The pedestrian, Shellie Parris, was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. No criminality is suspected at this time.
