The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care & Rehabilitation hosted its “Senior Olympics” on Tuesday, September 2. From the parade of Olympians and the lighting of the Olympic torch, to the games, including bowling, basketball and putting green golf, to the Olympic banner crafted by residents, Parker’s Olympians performed with great pride. In addition to residents’ families, guests included State Senators Frank Padavan, Craig Johnson, and Malcolm Smith, as well as Assemblymembers Mark Weprin, Ann-Margaret Carrozza and Rory Lancman, and NYC Councilman David Weprin.
