Campaign office opens

Tony Nunziato, a Republican who is challenging incumbent Democrat Margaret Markey in the 30th Assembly District, recently opened his campaign headquarters at his business, Enchanted Florist & Greenhouses, in Maspeth.
Family, friends and supporters turned out to support Nunziato at his campaign’s new home as he intensifies his campaign activities before the November 4 election.
“I will be a performer, not a seat warmer,” Nunziato said. “It’s time our elected officials in Albany started working on behalf of the communities they serve instead of their own self interests. The people deserve an Assemblyman who works for them, not one that is beholden to the party bosses.”
