News Room open mic

Following a long intermission, “Up Front News presents” returns to The News Room with a performing arts open mic event on Sunday, September 28. The News Room, formerly on Gerard Avenue, is in a more spacious venue at 141 East 149th Street. Tom Weiss who is also the publisher of Up Front News produced the open mic. The event was set up in a lounge with an interesting set of performers. Although the lighting was dim for an open mic, it retained the atmosphere of the lounge.
