On Friday November 14 the students of the Aquinas Honor Society of Immaculate Conception School in Jamaica Estates were invited to a luncheon at the Immaculate Conception Passionist Monastery. Father Peter Grace, C.P., the Rector of the Monastery, invited the students to thank them for all the work they have done with regard to the October Open House when they provided rare tours of the monastery grounds to the public.
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving Season the students and their parents created gift bags for each of the 30 priests and brothers who reside at this monastery that was established in 1924. Inside each were towels, handkerchiefs, hand lotion, soap and other small gifts. The students gave each priest and brother a gift bag.
