FAR ROCKAWAY — A man accused of continuing to post nude photos of his ex−wife on the Internet after a court ordered him to stop pleaded guilty last week, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Thomas Gillen, 46, formerly of Far Rockaway, admitted to identity theft and criminal contempt, the DA said. He faces up to five years in prison when sentenced in February, Brown said.
Between November 2007 and July 2008, Gillen, now a Maryland resident, accessed an Internet account he created in his former wife’s name and pretended to be her in sexual online conversations with men. He also sent the men nude photos of his ex−wife and posted them online.
Gillen also admitted he violated a previous 2007 court order by not attending counseling and by continuing to post his ex−wife’s nude photos on the Internet, Brown said.
