CORONA — A teenage girl was arrested on suspicion of robbery after attacking a 19−year−old woman with a group of other teens in January, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
Samiyah Humphries, 16, was charged with second−degree robbery. She was arraigned last Thursday. If convicted, she faces a maximum of 15 years in prison. Her next court date is March 16.
On Jan. 15 around 8 p.m., Humphries and four other teens approached the 19−year−old at 96−04 57th Ave., punched her in the face and kicked and scratched her, according to a criminal complaint filed by the Queens DA’s office. The girls allegedly fled with the victim’s necklace, bracelet and earrings, the complaint said.
