ELMHURST — A 35−year−old was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court last week after allegedly stealing more than $4,000 in necklaces and rings in two separate robberies, the Queens district attorney said.
Charles Frisoulis, of 90−44 Elmhurst Ave., was charged on Feb. 24 with three counts of grand larceny in the Jan. 7 robbery of a jewelry store at 37−15 Junction Blvd., according to the criminal complaint.
Around 3:50 p.m., Frisoulis entered the store and asked to see a $1,200 necklace and then proceeded to run out of the store with the piece of jewelry without paying for it, the complaint said.
On Feb. 13, Firsoulis entered the Silver Plus jewelry store on 136−27 Roosevelt Ave. around 11:30 a.m. and removed two diamond rings from the fingers of the store’s owner, the complaint said.
He then allegedly ran out of the store without paying for the rings, which were worth more than $3,000, according to the report.
