Padavan cares about constituents

An open letter to state Sen. Frank Padavan (R−Bellerose):

On behalf of the men of the newly formed American Martyrs’ Council of the Knights of Columbus, I offer congratulations on your hard−fought and well−deserved return to the Senate.

As a lifelong resident of your district, I was taught from an early age by my father to “Go vote for Frank.” When I asked him why, he responded with a laundry list of reasons: the family, seniors, health care, housing, the environment, the Boy Scouts, law enforcement, education, etc. When I matured and earned the privilege to vote, I voted with the same mantra in my head.

In these perilous times, I feel protected knowing a man of your character and conviction is representing my interests in the Senate. I applaud your defense of the family at all its stages and the protection of the innocents that too few politicians have cared to defend, raising instead their fingers to the whims of social winds.

For all these reasons and more, I was privileged to support your re−election campaign by displaying yard signs on my property at the corner of 208th Street and Union Turnpike in Hollis Hills.

Please continue your efforts and good works.
