Councilmember Elizabeth Crowley (left of lectern) recently honored the 75th Street Block Association with a New York City proclamation for adopting an abandoned land and transforming it into a green and sustainable environment. The Block Association secured an unusual agreement with the CXS Railroad to create a safe passageway from Eliot Ave to 75th Street, which services 100 families and significantly improves the neighborhood’s quality of life.
