Alleged rapist wanted

The New York Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for a sexual assault.
On Friday, July 3, the victim, a 20-year-old woman, was walking in the vicinity of 185th Street and the Long Island Expressway in Fresh Meadows when the suspect approached her from behind and forcibly removed her to an isolated location. The victim was then sexually assaulted by the male, described as wearing a multi-colored striped shirt with matching hat and dark colored jeans.
The perpetrator then fled the scene on foot, having also removed personal property from the victim.
