EAST ELMHURST — An East Elmhurst man was arrested after allegedly robbing Kababish, an Indian-Pakistani restaurant in Jackson Heights June 17, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Hanish Pal, 24, and two other men entered the restaurant around 1:20 a.m. and proceeded to allegedly punch an individual working at the establishment and unsuccessfully attempted to take cash from an open register, the DA said.
Pal has been charged with attempted robbery. He was arraigned June 26 and held on $5,000 bail. He will return to court July 10.
