Carrozza must choose to serve as a politician or practice law

The recent newspaper articles and editorials, all based on facts, speaks clearly and sharply. I know there are some people who still support state Assemblywoman Ann-Margaret Carrozza (D-Bayside).

I do not have anything personal against Carrozza, but what negative information has already come out will definitely influence me not to vote for her again.

Moreover, as a matter of principle and indignation, I am opposed to any legislator of any political party who works any other full-time job, such as being a lawyer in private practice. One cannot be attentive to both jobs and responsibilities, which demand full mental and physical attention.

Either the law firm client suffers or the voter only has a part-time, lackluster representative in the state Legislature — hence Carrozza’s dismal absentee record in the state Assembly.
