Man threatened with arson, family’s death: DA

MIDDLE VILLAGE — A Brooklyn man was charged with threatening to burn down a Middle Village man’s home, burn the man alive and rape and kill his wife and daughters, a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said Tuesday.

Marin Malinowski, 21, of 120 Nassau Ave. in Brooklyn, allegedly called the Middle Village homeowner on his cell phone between 7 p.m. July 9 and 9:45 p.m. July 10 and made the threats, according to the criminal complaint.

The complaint said Malinowski allegedly threatened to burn down the home, burn the homeowner alive and rape and kill his wife and daughters.

Malinowski was arraigned Aug. 5 before Queens Criminal Court Judge Stephanie Zaro, who released him on his own recognizance, the DA’s spokeswoman said.

His next court date was scheduled for Oct. 6, the spokeswoman said.
