A 65-year-old woman claims that, while shopping at the TJ Maxx at 20th Avenue in College Point on August 3, an unidentified person(s) took her wallet — containing multiple credit cards — from inside her purse.
The NYPD’s 109 Precinct Detective squad later recovered video surveillance from a Dunkin’ Donuts located on Northern Boulevard that shows two men and a woman standing at the counter during a purchase, allegedly using the stolen card. Additional purchases were made at area retail stores, say police.
