102nd PRECINCT
The NYPD is asking for your help in locating and identifying an individual wanted in regards to three robberies of Staples stores that have occurred within the 61st, 66th, and 102nd Precincts.
In each of the three incidents the suspect allegedly entered a Staples Office Supply Store and approached staff members, armed with a gun. He then directed the workers to the safe in the manager’s office where he removed cash. There have been no injuries reported in any of the incidents.
The first robbery occurred on Tuesday, June 16 at 2892 Ocean Avenue; the second on Wednesday August 26 at 1880 Coney Island Avenue; and the most recent happened in the 102 on Tuesday September 8 at the Staples located at 91-30 Van Wyck Expressway.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s to 40s , approx 5’11” to 6’1″ , 170 to 200 pounds. Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
