It is great to see public officials are bringing the removal of graffiti to public eyes (“Gennaro gets hands on in war against graffiti,” Fresh Meadows Times, Oct. 1).
If all Council members took on this obligation and committed themselves to an ongoing program, together with voluntary civic associations and Citizens Against Graffiti Everywhere our city’s graffiti plague would disappear in a matter of months.
Bay Terrace is a community that has zero-tolerance for graffiti and a dedicated group of volunteers within the Bay Terrace Community Alliance who rid our neighborhood of this eyesore with the help of CAGE on an ongoing basis.
