During a special October 21 event at Bob’s Place, owned by North Shore Towers resident Bob Manning, the cancer advocacy and support organization Giving Inspiration, Fighting Together (GIFT) received support.
GIFT was co-founded by Jayne Clark, also a North Shore Towers resident. She is a breast cancer survivor.
Bob’s Place has been supporting GIFT for several years, and recently sponsored gift bags for its ninth annual Fall Fashion Festival, which was held on October 15. The restaurant also donated $12,000 worth of gift certificates.
During the recent “Chef’s Table” event at the restaurant, a portion of the proceeds from dinner were donated to GIFT.
