FRESH MEADOWS — A Queens family is offering a $4,000 reward for their dog, which was stolen from their car in Fresh Meadows New Year’s Eve.
Elisa Buoncora said their dog, a young, female Havanese who is sick and requires medication, was stolen between 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. from their white Chrysler 300C at the intersection of Horace Harding Expressway and 188th Street in Fresh Meadows Dec. 31.
The dog is seven to eight pounds, a cream or beige color with traces of black on her ears and tail and has dark eyes.
Buoncora said the reward will be offered with no questions asked.
Buoncora’s 9-year-old daughter has been devastated by the theft and has had trouble sleeping without the dog, the mother said.
Individuals can call 718-685-4164 with information about the dog.
