WOODSIDE — A Long Island City man was arraigned Dec. 18 on charges of third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

Andrew Thornhill, 23, allegedly assaulted ex-girlfriend Elain Joy Degale, 20, inside 31-21 54th St., according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

Degale alleged that Thornhill slapped her, threw her on the ground and punched her in the face, causing her lip to swell, the DA said.

She also said Thornhill threw her laptop on the ground, breaking it to pieces, according to the DA.

Thornhill was released on his own recognizance and will appear in court again Feb. 4.
