The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals wanted in connection with a cell phone robbery that occurred on Wednesday, January 20.
Police say that, while on the mezzanine area at the Parsons Boulevard and Hillside Avenue subway station, one of the suspects grabbed a 14-year-old girl’s cell phone and fled to the street, where he gave the phone to the second suspect.
Both suspects then threatened to assault the victim and fled southbound on Parsons Boulevard.
The perps are described as 18-year-old males, approximately 5’10”, 160 pounds. The first suspect was wearing a beige jacket and has black braided hair. The second perp was wearing a red thermal shirt with a gray ski cap.
