Joseph DiGilio, a Fresh Meadows resident and father of two daughters, died in his sleep the night of Feb. 1 after suffering a heart attack. He was 58.
He coached the girls softball team at St. Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows. Two of his three daughters were on the team.

DiGilio’s wake was held Feb. 3 at the Lloyd Funeral Home at 214-43 39th Ave. in Bayside. A funeral Mass was held Feb. 4 at St. Josaphat Church at 34-32 210th St. in Bayside.
He is survived by his three daughters.
