JACKSON HEIGHTS — A Bronx man was arrested and charged two weeks ago in connection with a fall burglary in a woman’s apartment, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
Anthony Torres, 33, was charged with burglary and petit larceny March 11, according to the DA’s office.
On Sept. 18, a woman who lived in an apartment on 79th Street walked into her home around 10:30 p.m. and found that several items were stolen, including cash and a laptop, the criminal complaint said.
The police found a baseball cap allegedly left by the burglar and a DNA scan found the hat belonged to Torres, according to the criminal complaint.
