By Connor Adams Sheets

A Flushing woman, Whitestone man and Middle Village man were arrested in New Jersey on prostitution-related charges in two separate busts last week, The Jersey Journal reported.

Hsiao Huang, 34, of Flushing, and Guang Zhang, 50, of Whitestone, were arrested in West New York, N.J., April 6 after responding to a phone call from an undercover officer who called a number listed in an ad for “Asian American Honeys,” the Journal reported.

The officer, who requested a woman be delivered to an undisclosed location in West New York, arrested Huang — who was driven there by Zhang — after she accepted $220 for sex, police told the Journal. Zhang was arrested on charges of promoting prostitution and his vehicle was confiscated, the paper said.

In another arrest April 7, Manuel Hernandez, 56, of Middle Village was charged with promoting prostitution after an undercover police officer called a phone number listed in another Spanish-language publication which read in Spanish “Touch Me Completely — I’m Fiery and Daring,” according to the Journal.

The officer set up a meeting with “Vivian” and Hernandez drove a woman to meet him, the Journal reported. She asked the officer for $180 for sex and was charged with prostitution while Hernandez was charged with promoting prostitution, according to the Journal.

Police confiscated Hernandez’s vehicle as well as $665 in cash, the paper said.
