Cops search for two Ridgewood robbers

RIDGEWOOD — Police were seeking the public’s assistance to find the identity and whereabouts of two men involved in an armed robbery at 10:25 a.m. last Thursday.

Two black men in their 20s were being sought for robbing a 30-year-old man at gunpoint on the Manhattan-bound L train line mezzanine area at the Halsey Street subway station, according to police. After the robbery, the suspects fled in an unknown direction on foot.

The first suspect was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with a red skull and bones on the front, blue jeans and a black backpack, according to police.

The second suspect was wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, dark-colored baseball cap, blue jeans and a black backpack, according to police.
