On March 30, police responded to 69-30 62nd Street for a 9-1-1 call of a person not breathing after friends were unable to get in touch with the victim.
Upon arrival, responding officers found 29-year-old Amanda Gonzalez-Andujar, born Edelbuerto, unconscious and unresponsive. According to reports, the apartment had been ransacked, a laptop was missing, and Gonzalez-Andujar was found naked and sprawled on the bed.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
