Commercial robber sought

Police are looking for a man they say held up a store at knifepoint on Tuesday, June 1.

The suspect allegedly approached the victim as he was opening the GameStop store, located at 136-51 Roosevelt Avenue. He then went inside, took money from the safe and fled.

The perp is described as a male Hispanic in his 40s, approximately 5’6” wearing an Under Armour hat.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

Arrests in stabbing

A man allegedly stabbed after an attempted robbery suffered, among other injuries, a punctured colon.

According to the district attorney, the victim, 18, and two other men were surrounded by the suspects, Vlad Ianco, 21, Anthony Dalto, 25, and John Ogden, 24, at 58th Street and 58th Avenue on Friday, May 28.

Ogden allegedly pulled a knife and demanded the victim’s property. An altercation ensued. Ogden dropped the knife, which was picked up by Dalto, who then allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen. All three fled.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for a lacerated spleen, a punctured colon and fluid in his pelvis. Doctors say he has to undergo exploratory surgery.

The suspects were later arrested.

105th Precinct

Fatal motorcycle accident

A motorcyclist lost control of his bike, struck a tree and died on Sunday, June 6.

Police say the accident happened in the vicinity of 221st Street and 145th Road. The 2006 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling northbound on 221st Street when the driver lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree, ejecting the driver. The victim was taken to Franklin General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Woman killed by driver with suspended license

A 37-year-old woman who had reportedly just dropped off her child at school was struck and killed by a driver with a suspended license on Friday, June 4.

The fatal accident happened at 201st Street and 53rd Avenue when the victim was struck by a blue Honda van, operated by a Teng Hsin Lu, 61, who remained on the scene.

The woman was taken to New York Hospital Queens in critical condition with head trauma. She later died.

Following an investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, failure to yield to pedestrian in the crosswalk and failure to obey school crossing guard directions.

Sexual Assault suspect sought

The NYPD is asking for your help in identifying an individual wanted in connection with a sexual assault.

Police say the incident took place on Wednesday, May 26 in the vicinity of 122nd Avenue as the victim, a 13-year-old girl, was walking home from school. She was grabbed by the perp, taken to a yard and sexually assaulted.

Cops say the perp is a male black, 40 to 45 years old, approx 6’3”, 220 pounds with brown dreadlocks with reddish highlights. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and black jeans.

Help find missing woman

Do you know where Iman Navarez is?

Police say she went missing on Thursday, June 3. She was last seen in the vicinity of 1310 Pitkin Avenue, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with “New York” written on it, white jeans and white sneakers.
