ST. ALBANS — A St. Albans man was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon last week after he allegedly forced a woman from her car at gunpoint, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Shaboo McBrayer, 34, allegedly approached the victim, who was parked at the intersection of 208th Street and 111th Avenue a little after 1:40 a.m. Oct. 5, 2008, in St. Albans, pointed a firearm at her and demanded she get out of her green Mazda Protege, according to the DA.
As the woman was getting out of her car, McBrayer allegedly pushed her, causing the victim to stumble and fall out of the vehicle. McBrayer and an unapprehended female then allegedly drove off in the stolen vehicle, Brown said.
Police were able to retrieve a bottle from the scene, which the city chief medical examiner’s office tested and found a single source male DNA profile, which they linked to McBrayer, according to the DA.
