Investigate floater at World’s Fair Marina

A dead body was found in the waters off pier 1 at the World’s Fair Marina on Sunday, July 18.

Upon their arrival, police discovered an unidentified male Hispanic, wearing a blue button down shirt, khaki pants and work boots, floating in the water. The NYPD Harbor Unit responded and pulled the man out of the water. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine cause of death.
