WOODSIDE – Local residents recently joined members from The Philippine Forum for its 2nd Annual Bayanihan Cultural Festival at the Hart Playground in Woodside.
The festival included a fun-filled day where locals enjoyed food, face painting, free health screenings and folk dances.
City Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer, who secured $5,000 in funding for the group, presented The Philippine Forum with a proclamation from the City Of New York recognizing their dedication to providing assistance and advocacy to the Filipino American community in Queens and throughout our great city.
